Current situation of teaching on discrete mathematics is discussed. Considering that there are many abstract concepts, theorems and methods in discrete mathematics course, it is necessary to add experimental teaching to the discrete mathematics course. In this paper, the basic experimental teaching principles of discrete mathematics are addressed. The experimental teaching arrangements of discrete mathematics are also presented.
