By the Riccati equation expansion method and a variable separation method,a series of complex wave solutions of the （2＋1）-dimensional Generalized Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff sys- tem （GCBS） is derived. Based on the derived solitary wave solution, we obtain some nove complex wave localized structures and study the chaotic behaviours of the system.
