In this paper, a improved space vector modulation technique for direct torque control scheme is presented. A equivalent voltage vector of arbitrary direction and magnitude are achieved by a simple and reliable arithmetic, The scheme may be regarded as a development of a DTC aimed at achieving a constant - switching - frequency operation.
