The coordinated development of ecology and economy is of great significance to the sustainable devel-opment of cities. According to the sufficient literature re se a rch , taking Huainan city as an example, the evalua-tion index system of eco - economic system coordination degree of resource - based city is constructed, and entro-py method and coordination model are used to measure coordination degree of eco - economic system in Huainan. The empirical results show th a t： In 2006 -2015 y e a rs, the order of ecosystem in Huainan fluctuated downward, and the order degree of economic system fluctuated upward, the coordination degree of eco - economic system is generally in the level of non - synergy or low lev e l, the decline of ecosystem order is the key factor that restricts the synergy of eco - economic system.
