R-phycerythrin （R-PE）, R-phycocyanin （R-PC） and allophycocyanin （AP） are isolated from the extrac- ted phycobiliprotein solution of Polysiphonia urceolata rich in phycoerythrin using gel filtration through Middle Fine Sephadex G-150 （MFG-150）, Fine Sephadex G-150（FG-150） and Sephaeryl S-300（S-300）. The obtained fractions of R-PE, R-PC and AP are further purified using ion-exchange chromatography through DEAE Sepharose-Fast Flow. An optimized technical procedure for simultaneous preparation of the three phycobiliprotein types from the extracted phycobiliproteins of Polysiphonia urceolata is established based on the present experiments.
