It is not only the first step of the theater ballistic missile defense system of systems（TBDES）demonstration,but also the important base to the ballistic missile defense plan that we accurately assess TBDES operational effectiveness and put forward the reasonable need of the effectiveness.Based on the theories of operation loop and information entropy,this paper sets up the operation network model of TBDES,proposes the operation effectiveness assessment method and mainly studies the operation loop number calculation model,single operation loop effectiveness assessment model and multiple operation loops effectiveness cumulative model.Finally,a case is given to verify feasibility and validity of the method.
