This paper proposed an effective method to measure interaction between two exposure factors of the disease. The general linear model was used to analyze quantitatively interaction by estimating RERI and assess type of interaction by means of estimating the parameters and their variances and co-variances in the models. The method is suitable both to cohort study and to case-control study.
