Sanitary landfill is currently the main mean of the treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste. However, landfill odor nuisances occur frequently, which seriously affect the work, life and health of the residents in surrounding areas. The paper introduced the sources and harmfulness of malodorous gas. In addition, the malodorous gas treatment technology, finally, the trend of development and applying foreground of malodorous gas treatment technology was discussed.
