The effect of fencing-endosure on aboveground biomass of plant comunities for alpine-cold grassland around the region of Qinghai lake.The results showed that the change of total biomass showed a single peak curve in the whole growing season of grass.The aboveground biomass was minimum during the initial growth and was the maximum in the first ten-day period of August which was 267.1g/m2.The fencing-endosure conduced to growth of good forage（grasses and sedges）and increase the percentage of good forage,and suppress the growth of broadleaf forage and decrease the percentage of broadleaf forage.
