The importance of political skills in the workplace has become increasingly prominent,which unfortunately has not received enough attention from Chinese scholars.The paper describes the origin,content and dimension of political skills,clarifies the influence of political skills on the workplace,analyzes the relationship between personality and political skills,discusses the mechanism between political skills and career success,and reveals the enlightenment of political skills for the human resource management.It finally constructs a theoretical model for explaining the influence of political skills on career success.
