It is useful to apply wireless sensor networks to management and control system of transportation. In this paper, code of road and intersection is combined with the identifier of wireless sensors; the three-cascade geographical information system for transportation based on wireless sensor networks, station and central database server is established to support the networking and intelligent geographical information system for transportation.
