Height datum is the basis for leveling measurement. Due to some objective factors, present height datum has local or regional features. Aiming at present situations of height datum, the paper analyzed several methods about height datum unification and described the basic principles. Meanwhile, it evaluated the advantage and disadvantage and applicability on the methods. The paper could give a reference for practical application.
