When building contours and corners are applied for large - scale registration of vehicle and airborne LiDAR, there may be large amount of calculation and local optimum solutions. Road network is used for a rough registration of vehicle and airborne LiDAR data. Firstly, the height and intensity properties are used for roads from airborne LiDAR and a Hough - based road tracing method is proposed to recover complete road network ; on this ba- sis, airborne roads are registered with vehicle trajectories with road matching measures.
