The MIPv6 makes it possible that a mobile host still can be reached by one of its constant home IPv6 addresses,and all upper layer connections are not be interrupted. Access control is needed for securing network and accounting. When it works,only authorized hosts are permitted to access the network. However,frequent manual authentication operations on handover are so much time-consuming that not only is the handover delayed but also is the available quality of services deteriorated. A novel access control method supporting MIPv6 is proposed ,which has an ability of mobile-awareness and can do authentication automatically. Therefore,manual operations are removed and time delay is improved.
