Flowering habit and composition of seed yield were studied in three species of rhizomatous forages in Elytrigia.The result showed that：（1）The flowering duration of population was 25-29d,which was shorter.Flowering duration of single plant was 5-15d.Flowering duration of single flower was 80-130 minute.The flowering order of spikelets of conical inflorescence was from mid to top,bottom was the last one,But the flowering order of floret of spikelets was from bottom to top.（2） The seed setting were lower of three kind of rhizomatous forages in Elytrigia,the highest was 68.73%±0.785%.
