With the method of regular sections and paraffin sections, the anatomic structures of both male and female inflorescence in jackfruit （Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. ） were observed. The result showed that there was no significant structural difference between male and female inflorescence in jackfruit, and that both of them contained epidermis, ground tissue and vascular bundles, without the differentiation of palisade tissue and sponge tissue. A quantity of crystal idioblasts and some stomata apparatus were oberved in both inner and outer epidermis cells. Furthermore, glandular scales and upswept epidermis hairs were found evenly distributed in the epidermis.
