摄像机标定是从二维图像获取三维信息必不可少的步骤,摄像机标定结果的好坏直接决定着三维重建结果以及其他计算机视觉应用的效果.主要利用摄像机自标定的六点算法讨论了控制点分布的均匀性对摄像机内外参数标定精度的影响.用典型随机数生成器生成了两组控制点均匀性不同的数据,同时设计了一组在空间中分布非常均匀的数据,仿真实验采用了这三组数据分别作为控制点的理论值.仿真实验结果表明,控制点在空间中分布的均匀性越好,则重建结果和摄像机自标定精度越高.对合理的安排控制点分布,获得较好的标定结果有一定的参考作用.
Camera calibration is an indispensable step to obtain 3D information from 2D images, the result of which directly determines the three-dimensional reconstruction as well as other computer vision applications. The uniformity of control points that influence the accuracy of the camera's intrinsic and external parameters obtained from camera self-calibration based on the six-point algorithm, is studied in this paper. The simulation features three sets of data as theoretical values of the control points, two of which are generated by the random number generator with different uniformity, the other one is manually chosen to have excellent uniformity. It is shown that the results of rebuilding and camera self-calibration are of better accuracy for control points with better spatial uniformity. It can be a guidance of distributing the control points for obtaining a good result of calibration.
