英文摘要：
The main indices used in the study of disinfection by-product （DBP） precursor in foreign countries were introduced, including the potential formation of DBP, simulation test of water distribution system, uniform formation condition test, and ultraviolet absorption. The test principle, basic method, and suitable condition for all indices were described. Meanwhile, the suggestion on the implementation of DBP test in the Chinese water supply industry was put forth.
