The Development of burgeoning information technology and internet has pushed the research of teamwork in the Information System （IS） into a new era. The society and world also need high effective and efficient team collaboration. Recently, a new rising up concept of Collaboration Engineering has come to the world,it attracts many scholars to conduct the Facilitated Collaboration research in the IS area. This paper introduces the new direction of this research area in the world. This paper also introduces the concept of Thinklets and gives literature review about the associated research meth- od, developing trend and activities.
