The theoretical result of slow electron scattered by neon atom in the range of 0. 1--80 eV is obtained with the most concise and effective equivalent potential model. Total elastic scattering cross section, momentum transfer section and differential cross section are calculated and compared with the previous more accurate theoretical and experiment data. The impact of the results when 7 is of the different values in Hammerling's exchange potential is also discussed.
