在考虑速度、加速度稳定性和加工误差精度的基础上,设计了一个完善的自适应NURBS插补器。该插补器不仅能够根据曲线的形状,自适应地调整速度,而且通过加减速处理模块和速度再修正模块,使速度在变速过程中始终以恒定的加速度进行升降,从而不仅能够满足机床的加减速能力的要求,而且使得机床运行更加平稳,提高了加工精度。计算实例验证了所设计的离线自适应NURBS插补器的可行性。
A completed adaptive interpolator was developed for non--uniform rational B--spline (NURBS) curves interpolation herein. In the proposed interpolator, both the chord accuracy and the acceleration/deceleration capability of machine tool were considered. Three modules, adaptive--feedrate adjustment, acceleration/deceleration disposal and feedrate modification, were applied to deal with the acceleration/deceleration around the feedrate sensitive sharp corners, and finally a satisfacto- ry result is achieved. A case study was provided to evaluate the feasibility of the developed interpolator at last.
