Data centralization is propitious for the information service; however, it magnifies the risk of data disaster. While all kinds of disaster recovery plans of document information management system are available nowadays, risks can always not be avoided during the selection. This article focuses on several issues concerning this field, such as how to establish the disaster recovery plan, what kinds of disasters are confronted by digital information of China, what sort of disasters could be eschewed or reduced its extent of harm though scientific management, how to select disaster recovery level by document information management systems, as well as the selection of establishment mode of disaster recovery center, etc.
