Guizhi-Gancao pair-herb is commonly used in clinics as＂Yang-Oriented Xin-Gan＂.It can work not only as an independently set prescription,such as Guizhi Gancao Decoction;but also in combination with other compound prescriptions.This study shows that Guizhi-Gancao is widely used in the treatment of cardiovascular disease, such as arrhythmia,the original-onset hypotension and myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.A systematic and in-depth study concerning this herb-pair would facilitate its development and utilization.
