In recent years, law students are not very interested in the subject of Foreign Legal History, and the subject is in a dis-advantaged situation, while the discussion-based teaching pat-tern may help us to solve these problems. It focuses on develop-ing students' active learning ability, practical ability and thinking in jurisprudence way. Besides, it is very flexible in teaching method. So using the discussion-based teaching pattern will not only help to improve the students' enthusiasm for learning, but also make the subject of Foreign Legal History revitalized.
