Numerical investigation of a room temperature active magnetic regeneration(AMR) refrigerator that is made of plate magnetocaloric material(MCM) with thickness of 0.1 mm was made.When water was used as the heat transfer fluid,the results showed that the no load temperature span is about 27 K,which can compare with the regenerator with thickness of 0.5 and Galinstan as the heat transfer fluid.When the utilization,porosity and cycle frequency are 1.5,0.4 and 1.0 Hz,respectively,the maximum predicted specific cooling capacity was about 185 W/kg with the coefficient of performance(COP) about 1.6 at 10 K temperature span.
