To screen the active sites of the anti-proliferative activity of Vatica mangachapoi Blanco, MTT assay was applied to screen the anti- proliferative effect of the five extracts of the leaves and stems of Vatica mangachapoi Blanco on SPCA-1 cell in vitro, then determine the active . The ethanol extract ＆ ethyl acetate fraction of the stems and ethyl acetate fraction of the leaves show remarkable anti-proliferative effects on SPCA-1 cells.
