The article analyzed the main direction and measure of development about engineering education reform in developed countries.It also introduced the theory of open innovation and the practice of GDUT to build an open innovation platform,as a case study to show how to design and operate the engineering graduate student training mechanism based on the open innovation platform,try to slove the problems in the training of engineering graduate students,such as lack of innovation and practice for students,insufficient joint training between colleges and enterprises.
