Jiubao Bridge in Hangzhou is the first long span l arch bridge constructed with incremental launching method in China.The structural response of this bridge is investigated by a 1∶300bridge model experiment on basis of model experiment similarity theory.The results of model test shows that（1）it is the most dangerous engineering phase is when three spans is being incrementallylaunched and the first span is wholly hanging;（2）subtraction of additional mass is a effective method for model test of incremental launching construction method;（3）stability of interim jackstays under compressive stress should be paid attention to.
