通过对西部地区某农村中学学生英语语篇思维模式进行调查分析,并在教学中实施语篇教学实验研究,结果表明,语篇思维模式与语篇教学模式在英语语言教学中有着重要的作用,强调英语语言教学要从语篇的结构形式入手,使学生在语言交际的环境中掌握语言,从而培养和提高他们的语言交际能力和实际应用语言的能力。
This paper, through researching and analyzing the thinking mode in English discourse ot the students at a certain high school in the Western Region and the experimental study implementing the discourse teaching to the same group of students, shows that the thinking mode and teaching mode of discourse play important roles in English language teaching. It emphasize the fact that English language teaching should attach more importance to the structure of discourse so that students may master the language in a communicative environment, thus nurturing and improving students' competence and performance in communication.
