Site selection is the key to domestic waste landfill site construction and operation. It is a complicated work, which involves physical, geography, geology, society, economy, law, environmental protection, etc. According to Jiaozuo municipal actual factors, three sites were selected as preliminary landfills after re- connaissance, which are Laohekou landfill site, Dananpo landfill site and Xiuwu Zhouliu landfill site. The Xiuwu Zhouliu landfill site was findlized by analyzing and comparing the effection factors such as engineering, environment science, economics, sociology and jurisprudence, etc.
