采用固相反应法制备了HoFe1-xMnx03(x=0,0.1,0.2)多晶样品,对其磁性和磁热效应进行了研究.随着Mn含量的增加,自旋重取向转变温区向高温方向移动,当Mn含量x=0.2时,自旋重取向转变温区达到210-220K;随着Mn元素掺杂量的增加,磁化强度先变强后变弱,Ho离子反铁磁有序温度先升高后降低.当Mn含量z=0.1时,由Ho离子反铁磁有序相变导致的磁熵变值在磁场为7T时达到最大,为-12.5J/kgK,制冷功率RC为298J/kg.实验结果表明少量Mn的引入有利于磁性和磁热效应的增强.
HoFe1-xMnx03(x=0,0.1,0.2) polycrystalline samples were prepared by conventional solid state re- action method and their magnetic and magnetocaloric properties have been studied. The spin reorientation tempera- ture increases with increasing Mn doping, and the spin reorientation temperature reaches 210-220K for x= 0. 2. With the doping content of Mn increases, the magnetization first increases and then decreases, and the antiferromag- netic order temperature of Ho ion increases and then decreases. The largest magnetic entropy change of --12. 5 J/ kgK and refrigeration capacity of 298 J/kg were acquired at 7 T as x=0. 1, which is caused by Ho ion antiferromag- netie order. The studies show that low amount of Mn doping is helpful for enhancing magnetic and magnetocaloric effect.
