With the advent of knowledge economy,knowledge has become the key resources of enterprises to acquire competitive advantage.The knowledge innovation is an important means of forming the core competitiveness of enterprises.This paper analyses the connotation of knowledge innovation,and puts forward a new concept of knowledge potential,by using the model of knowledge potential.From a new perspective to understand the process of knowledge innovation,we should pay attention to the potential to create,use and control,and realize knowledge innovation cycle.
