Based on the systematical investigation, two distribution centers of wild rapeseed in Tibet were proposed. The first pone is in the central zone of Tibet, and the second one is in the east zone of Tibet. There are obviously distributive rule and regional particularity. Besides the ecological and reproductive characteristics, modes of dissemination as well as detailed causes of genetic erosion of the species were discussed. In addition, the problems existed in the present germplasm collection and preservation of wild rapeseed in Tibet were pointed out. Finally, suggestions for further conservation of wild rapeseeds in this region were proposed.
