Relevant oxidation reactions which took place in the roasting process of stone coal was studied by thermodynamic analysis.Oxidation of organic carbon,pyrite and vanadium is spontaneous reaction,and organic carbon,pyrite are more easily oxidized than vanadium.Existence of organic carbon or pyrite in stone coal is not conducive to the oxidation of vanadium.Pre-removal of organic carbon or pyrite is favorable to the oxidation of vanadium.
