Recent development of lithium-sulfur battery was comprehensively reviewed,including the use of conductive materials, such as carbon ,conductive polymer and metal oxide to compound with sulfur,the development of appropriate liquid organic electrolyte, polymer or all solid-state ceramic electrolyte, and the protection of lithium anode by pretrcatment of lithium or using electrolyte additives.
