基于IMS的网络架构支持固定网络接入需求和未来网络的各种业务需求,有利于实现未来固定、移动网络在核心业务控制层的共享和融合,并提供对高层多种业务的支持,已经成为下一代网络的发展方向。介绍了中期体系结构和远期体系结构,然后引入了IMSR00参考体系结构,最后对IMS主要实体、接口与参考点进行了分析。

Network architecture based on 3GPP IMS can fulfill the access requirement of fixed network and the service requirement of future network, which plays a vital role in the Fixed Mobile Convergence （FMC） at core service control layer and supports multiple service of high layer, so 3GPP IMS represents the development direction of future Next Generation Network （NGN）. This paper introduces mediumterm architecture and long-term architecture, then gives the reference architecture of IMS Release 2000. In conclusion, we analyzes the main entities, interface and reference points of IP Multimedia Subsystem （IMS）.
