The concrete-filled steel tube reinforced concrete （CFSTRC） columns combine the advantages of both steel reinforced concrete （SRC） and conventional concrete-filled steel tubular （CFST） structures. Therefore, high bearing capacity and excellent seismic performance can be expected, and this construction has a goodpotential to be used in buildings. It is briefly reviewed the present application and research on CFSTRC structures inland in this paper, then further research work on CFSTRC structures is discussed.
