Based on a long-term field experiment established by soil removal, the soil phosphatase activity dynamic during corn growth period under identical climate condition were studied. The relationships among soil phosphatase activity, soil nutrient and corn productivity were ana- lyzed. The results showed that there was a higher soil phosphatase activity in high organic matter content soil, There was significant positive correlations between soil phosphatase activity and soil organic matter content, total N, total P, available N, and their correlation coefficient were 0.993,0.996,0.951 and 0.921 repectively, and phosphatase activity significantly correlated with corn yield.
