我们在87Rb冷原子团中利用电磁感应透明(EIT)动力学过程实现了光学信号的存储与释放,研究了光存储效率与耦合光强的关系。实验结果表明,在较低的耦合光强下,存储效率随耦合光强增大而增大,当耦合光达到一定强度时,存储效率不再增高,然后随着耦合光强增大而降低。通过分析光脉冲在冷原子团中传播时的吸收和色散特性,我们对存储效率随耦合光强的变化趋势给出了定性解释。
By using electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) dynamics, we realized the storage release of coupling optical lntenslt signals in 87 Rb cold atoms, studied the relationship between the storage efficiency and y. Experimental results show that the storage efficiency increases with the coup and the intensity in the situation of low coupling intensity. When the coupling beam exceeds certain intensity, the storage efficiency doesnt t increase any more. Then it runs down with the rise of coupling intensity. By analyzing the absorption and dispersion characteristics of light pulse propagating through cold atoms, we made a qualitative explanation of the changing trend of the storage efficiency with the coupling intensity changing.
