英文摘要：

Plant lectins are proteins possessing at least one non-catalytic domain that binds reversibly to specific mono-or oligosaccharides. They distinguish themselves from other plant proteins by the ability of carbohydrate binding. It has a prospective use in agricultural production. The applications of several plant lectins, i. e. galan- thus nivalis agglutinin, agglutinin from Araceae and agglutinin from Amaranthus on the sucking pest-resistant gene engineering were summarized in this paper. The research on the binary insect-resistant transgenic plant was also introduced.
