The search engine is needed in obtaining information and resources through the Internet. But it is impossible to use the current normal search engine to find various hardware format files-hardware parts design files-designed by special tools. The research of a new search engine specified to the hardware parts design is discussed. It will be possible to use this kind ofseareh engine to find the hardware parts design files based on the assorted information of hardware parts design provided by the Internet. This will give the hardware developers a better support in reducing the period of the hardware development. The design solution of this specific search engine is introduced.
