Recent research progresses in preparation technologies for polymer superhydrophobic surfaces were reviewed, focusing on the template method, the etching method and the phase separation method. The advantages and disadvantages of mentioned preparation methods were briefly described. The development of preparation technologies for polymer superhydrophobic surfaces was finally discussed.
