The structural composition,design principles and standards of stormwater wetlands were summarized,and the main effects and problems of conventional stormwater wetlands in the stormwater runoff regulation were analyzed. Based on different control objectives of the stromwater runoff,several wetland technology selection models were presented, which can provide references and guidance for the engineering application of wetland technology for the stormwater runoff control.
