The paper studies macro road network and micro urban space quality, and evaluates the walkability of the environment of three rail transit terminals. It reveals that street level urban design affects walking experience more than general urban morphology; convenience as a key factor of walking experience, is affected by both road network and streetscape. The general evaluation of walking environment is the overlapping and regrouping of varied walking experiences. The social attributes of pedestrians affect the experience too.
