A design of bluetooth surface electromyogram signal (SEMG) collection system based on the MSP430 processor is introduced in the paper, which has been used to detect muscle function in patients with knee joint problem. The system includes signal acquisition and amplification, A/D conversion and bluetooth transmission, and implements the SEMG acquisition and PC bluetooth communication. It has been successfully used to measure SEMGs in patients with knee joint problem while squatting.
