针对媒体云系统媒体资源采集过程中用户端带宽波动问题,提出一种x264编码器参数自适应调整方法。作者从权衡传输和编码时延关系入手,通过比对复杂度调整前后的总时延变化情况,确定后续复杂度调整方向,逐步减小总时延,进而实现包含编码时延和传输时延的总时延最小的目的。实验结果表明,该方法能够为处于不同网络环境下的编码器选取准确的最优参数组合,并且相比编码器初始配置平均减小了4%~14%左右的总时延。
During the media resource acquisition process in the Multi-media Cloud system,the bandwidth of the client fluctuates.Therefore,this paper proposed a adjustment method of x264 encoder with adaptive parameters.Starting with the relationship between the transmission delay and encoding time,the adjustment direction of complexity was decided through the results of overall delay.The objective of minimizing the overall transmission and coding delay was achieved by the gradual complexity control.The experimental results show that the proposed method can accurately select the optimal encoder parameters in different network environments and reduce the average total delay from 4%to 14%.
