活性炭测氡需要对暴露时间和静置时间进行校正,目前国家标准GB/T14582-1993使用的方法是;采用t1^0.49(t1为暴露时间)进行暴露时间校矿;采用e^-(t1/2+t2)λRn(t2为静置时间)进行衰减校正。为了对标准中的校正方法进行验证并分析其校正误差,采用活性炭γ能谱计数模拟计算方法对不同暴露时间和静置时间所引起的活性炭丫能谱计数进行了计算。结果表明,在暴露时间相差(-12h~+12h)时,暴露时间校正误差为5.0%~-3.9%,同时引起衰减校正误差为4.4%~-4.6%。足够长的静置时间可以保证衰减校正无误差,静置时间可根据暴露时间灵活调整:暴露时间曼≤48h,静置时间≥3h;暴露时间≥72h,静置时间可缩短至〈3h。
Radon detection by activated charcoal needs corrections according to exposure time and soak time (the duration from the end of collection time to the start time of measurement). The counts must be corrected by exposure-time adjustment factor t1^0.49(where h is exposure time) and decay adjustment factor of e^-(t1/2+t2)λRn (where t2 is soak time), which is widely used in China. In order to test the adjustment and check the adjustment errors, the counts of y-rays at different exposure hours and soak hours are calculated using a calculation method. The calculation results show that the exposure time ,difference of (-12 h-+12 h) between measurement and calibration can cause exposure-time adjustment error of +5.0%--3.9% and decay adjustment error of 4.4%--4.6%. The soak time can be adjusted according to exposure time, which does not cause any decay adjustment error. If the exposure time is less than 48 h, the soak time should be more than 3 h. If the exposure time is more than 72 h, the soak time can be less than 3 h.
