提出一种基于实验数据采集的彩色PDP动态伪轮廓评价方法,在现有距离法的基础上,对其不足之处进行了改进,综合考虑了实际PDP荧光粉的发光特性,可区分RGB三色荧光粉对动态伪轮廓的影响程度。本评价方法无需事先了解PDP具体驱动方式,包括子场权重和时序方案等信息,完全通过实验数据采集,能更准确和客观地对DFC进行评价。本评价方法可以用于对PDP各种改善DFC的驱动方式进行优化,提高PDP显示质量。
A new evaluation method for dynamic false contour of color PDP based on experimental data collection was proposed. It can improve the deficiencies of the existing evaluation methods of MPD distance and distinguish the three RGB phosphors impact on the dynamic false contour based on the real PDP phosphor characteristics. It can evaluate DFC more accurately and objectively through experimental data collection without knowing the detailed PDP driving method in advance, which includes the weight of sub-fields and timing information. The driving methods of PDP to improve DFC and enhance the display quality can be optimized by this novel evaluation method.
