The optimization of teaching content of ＂common geology＂ has an important significance not only for fully using teaching resources of the efficient,but also for training of high-quality personnel of earth.In the article,based on the research achievements of the pioneer works,it is discussed that there are some problems of the teaching content.In order to optimizing teaching content of ＂common geology,we put forward some measures.
