基于VAR模型,将1987—2014年期间辽宁省工业废水排放量、生活污水排放量作为环境污染指标,人均GDP作为经济指标进行估计,运用协整检验、脉冲响应、方差分解和格兰杰因果检验来分析辽宁省经济增长和水污染的双向动态关系。分析结果表明,辽宁省经济增长和水污染之间存在双向动态机制,工业废水和生活污水与经济增长之间的关系存在差异性。工业废水增加会导致经济增长,经济增长又进一步抑制工业废水增加;经济增长和生活污水之间存在一定的矛盾,经济增长导致生活污水排放量的增加,反过来生活污水排放量的增加又会抑制经济增长,经济增长对水污染排放的影响大于水污染排放对经济增长的影响。
